NOTE: NO TRIMMER IS INCLUDED. No electric shaver (face shaver or personal shaver) will cut hair longer than stubble. The ES412 Cleancut is no different. If the hair is too long it lays flat and the ES412's foil will glide right over them without picking them up and cutting them. Either blade shave first or purchase a Model PS335 Cleancut “No Nick” Trimmer (available separately.) It is HIGHLY  recommended that you use Sween  Medical Grade Dry Lubricant Powder as a dry lubricant on the area to be shaved, to prevent the shaver foil from sticking to the skin. Alternatively Remington FaceSaver Powder Stick may also be used.
